Wu Zun gets a short 3-day vacation back to celebrate the Lunar New Year with his family in Brunei. As a business owner, he distributes “red envelopes” to his gym staff. With him opening another gym last year, he now has a total of 40 staff and spends up to $600,000 TWD, that’s roughly $18,750 USD! Which is around $470 USD per person! Wow, if it was really only divided by 40 staff, I’d love to be his staff.

Wouldn’t you? :)

Happy New Year, everybody!!

Wu Chun and Hebe were both on the Taiwan talk show “Kang Xi Lai Le” (hosted by Barbie Hsu’s sister), last week. The two got into an interesting debate on the show. Wu Chun doesn’t think cheating (in a relationship) is forgivable, while Hebe says people make mistakes and sometimes knows to cherish (relationship) more after it’s gone. She quickly clarifies that she hasn’t done any of it (cheating in a relationship) before.

Who do you think is right? Hebe or Wu Chun? :) We’d love to know!

I Love You

Although this Taiwan television mini-series only airs once a week and story is a bit slow, I’ve been patiently following it. Why? Because it’s interesting to see Vic Zhou’s acting improve and mature since “Meteor Garden” days. Patty Hou’s acting is sometimes good and at times, too unreal. But in general, she is tolerable. I personally don’t care much for the other characters of the story, as they are not as engaging to me. But finally the story is picking up in episode 11 with Patty finally leaving “Little Bear” restaurant to learn from another chef master.

I don’t quite understand why Asian netizens prefer “Romantic Princess”. I find the story and characters boring. Quite disappointing since I liked Wu Chun in “Hana Kimi”, and Angela Chang in “MVP Lover”. “Romantic Princess” is definitely not one of their best works.
