I saw this posting from KBS Global about Se7en’s concert tour selling out on the first day it was released in May. Pretty impressive although not really surprising. I saw him perform at last year’s YG Family Concert at Madison Square Garden in New York and his performance was quite impressive. Every eyes(mostly the girl’s) in the crowd were glued on him that night.

He is also working on recording on an album for his career advancement in the U.S. This is the part that is going to be interesting. Like Rain, Se7en’s management company, YG Entertainment, is also pushing to promote him locally. While Se7en may be famous in Asia, most non-Koreans don’t know him that well here. When Se7en’s US album comes out, the Americans are going to find out about another Asian R&B artist surfacing. I wonder what Stephen Colbert will have to say about that!
