It’s spreading like wildfire on the web. Nude photos and sex videos of Hong Kong’s “coolest celebrity”, Edison Chen with equally popular actresses Gillian Chung, Cecilia Cheung, and Bob Chan are all over the web. Photos and videos online with Edison also included other unidentified women. Another blog said it might be Jolin Tsai and a Japanese porn star.

Public apology by Edison is not going to help him from losing major endorsement contracts. He’s reportedly dropped by Manhattan Titanium, a credit card company. In addition, Edison has been dumped from the upcoming movie “Jump”, which is a joint production between Columbia Pictures and Stephen Chow’s company Star Overseas. All scenes involving Edison are said to have been cut from the film. Ouch!

8 people were arrested in connection of spreading the lewd photos. Hong Kong police raided the eLite Multimedia shop in their search for the source of the sex photos and took away four computers for investigation. Reports had earlier said Chen had sent his notebook to a company for repair last year and his photos were secretly copied. (Dude, you could have just hired someone to repair it at your place.) But the police have not confirmed if the sex photos of Chen, and actresses Cecilia Cheung, Gillian Chung and Bobo Chan—circulated on the web last week—were real or fake. They look very real to me.

Cecilia Scandal

So, do you think this is the end of Cecilia, Gillian and Bobo? All of them are have this sweet and innocent image on screen. After this scandal, no one’s going to buy that anymore. As for Edison, he’ll probably get high fives later from male peers. Edison sure messed up their lives. Cecilia’s husband, Hong Kong action star Nicholas Tse, will be negatively affected too for sure.
